Born in Poland in the 1990s, Emilia grew up during a time of deep social and economic transition — a period that demanded adaptability, independence, and resourcefulness. This post-communist backdrop shaped not only her mindset but also instilled the ability to solve complex problems pragmatically. Raised on a family farm primarily focused on dairy production, she was actively involved in the daily care of over 50 cows and the operation of milk-related processes from an early age. Although raised in a livestock-oriented environment, Emilia’s growing interest in plant cultivation led her toward a distinct path in horticulture and agronomy.
Early Exposure & Learning

Since childhood, she consistently balanced formal education with active work on the farm. In addition to her responsibilities in dairy, she managed part-time agricultural projects that included maintaining orchards, producing ornamental plants for sale, and assisting in the cultivation of crops such as corn, wheat, and a variety of others. This early exposure cultivated not only practical knowledge but also a strong sense of responsibility, independence, and a results-driven work ethic deeply rooted in the Slavic cultural legacy of pragmatic problem-solving.
Academic Qualifications

Her academic path reflects a period when higher education still held clear value — during a time when academic rigor and applied knowledge were particularly emphasized. She holds a PhD in Agronomy, along with an MSc in Agriculture and a BSc in Horticulture — graduating the latter with the highest academic score in her department among several hundred students. This foundation has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of plant science, production systems, and the practical challenges found in both traditional and controlled-environment cultivation. These academic qualifications are further strengthened by her proven ability to apply knowledge in real-world production conditions. In addition, driven by her passion for ornamental horticulture, she holds a vocational certificate in floristry from one of Poland’s leading schools of floral design.

With nearly three decades of work in the field — grounded in hands-on exposure since childhood — Emilia held the position of Senior Grower at a key branch of a leading organic hydroponic group in Eastern Europe, known for supplying major retail chains across the continent. Within just three years of joining, she was given management responsibilities — the result of consistent, practical involvement with technically demanding crops, including fresh herbs, leafy greens, and other high-value plants. Her focus on biological control, nutrient precision, and operational resilience contributed to consistent output, including periods of zero measurable crop loss — an achievement rarely sustained in commercial organic hydroponics.

Today, Emilia applies this experience through her work at Cultiva EcoSolutions, where she serves as the founder and lead consultant. The initiative supports growers, producers, and agricultural businesses working to improve production outcomes, strengthen ecological practices, or adjust their operations to specific conditions. Her work remains grounded in technical knowledge, clear communication, and realistic strategies that support long-term stability and practical results.
